India’s upword march in the Boston Junior World Cup got a set back with an upset defeat at the hands of England.
In the first match of the Medal Round, Indian girls lost to England 0-1 on Saturday.
England got its winning goal in the 7th minute of the match while the Indian team struggled to find the equalizer. Indian forwards worked hard to earn as many as 6 penalty corners but goals eluded.
England also got 4 PCs, but their only goal was a field goal.
Today (Sunday), India will take on Chile in its second match of the medal round.
