Despite trailing breif, Indian girls came up with timely goals to avoid wooden spoon in the HWL Round 3 at Rotterdam.

The match came alive in the second half — no goals in the first — when Camila came with a goal in the 44th minute. However, three minutes later Young and upcoming Ritushah Kumari struck to bring the score even.

It was left to the Vice Captain Chan Chan Devi to give India the match winner when she beautifully converted a half chance into a goal in the 56th minute.

This is first win for Indian girls in six matches, having drawn one match in the league.
