New Delhi, Aug. 10: There was no Indian on the podium after the trap shooting competition but it was an Indian – Mr Randhir Singh, the only Indian member of the International Olympic Committee – who gave away the medals. Lots of Indian sports officials are in Beijing, though, as are the hockey coaches, Mr AK Bansal, Mr MK Kaushik, Mr Harinder Singh and Mr A B Subbaiah, sent to the Olympics city on an official mission to see and learn.
