67th Inter-Railways Men’s Hockey Championship Results:

Quarterfinal 1:
Defending champions Western Railway entered the semi-finals of the 67th All-India Railway Hockey Championship, winning 3-2 against Southern Railway, at the Dhyanchand Stadium, Lucknow.

Hardeep scored first for WR in the third minute but in the next minute Ganesh restored parity for SCR. In the 11th minute Chandrakesh Kumar put WR ahead once again (2-1), and in the 26th minute SCR leveled the score through R Diwakaran (2-all). Hardeep converted a penalty corner three minutes before the hooter (3-2) to give his side the victory.

Quarterfinal 2:
South Central Railway (SCR) defeated North Central Railway (NCR) 3-2. Tomorrow SCR and WR will play the semis, while in the other semi-final West Central Railway (WCR) will take on Northern Railway.

In the second quarterfinal, West Central Railway (WCR) defeated Central Railway 3-2 through golden goal. Merajuddin posted the golden goal in the 81st minute.

Quarterfinal 3:

Raisal Aziz struck both the goals for the winners, while
Rajveer Bhatkar and Ejaz Qureshi netted for CR.

Quarterfinal 4:
Northern Railway trounced Rail Coach Factory (RCF)
4-0 after leading by 1-0 at the lemon time.
