Now retired, Jaap Stockman was goalkeeper for Netherlands in a career spanning 140 internationals.

Standing 6 foot 4 inches tall, he guarded the Dutch citadel with aplomb and was voted 2014 FIH Goalkeeper of the Year.

Stockman, born on July 24, 1984, has a silver medal from the 2014 World Cup at The Hague and another from the 2012 London Olympics.

He also a bronze medal won at the 2010 New Delhi World Cup.

Stockman represented HC Bloemendaal in the Dutch league and had a stint with Punjab Warriors in the Hockey India League in the 2013-14 season.
