A 16-member girls team will represent Rajasthan in the South West inter-varsity women’s hockey championship. The eight-day meet starting on November 14, will be held in Banasthali. In the opening tie, Rajasthan will take on Vishakhapattnam. The team is now attending a three-day camp under the supervision of SAI coach GK Sharma. “We could have organised the camp much earlier. But it was not possible because of paucity of funds,” said one of the officials. The camp began at the Sports Board complex ground on Monday. TNN
