SAI Centre defeated Sports College by a brace of goals in a league match of the Lucknow Hockey league. Shashi Kant struck in the 26th minute to give the winners the lead. In the 29th minute Ram Singh scored another field gaol to consolidate the position. SAI Centre held on to their advantage till the end to claim full points.

In the second match, Sport Hostel overcame UP Police 3-1 after leading by a goal at half-time. Hamid struck for the Hostel in the 22nd minute. In the second half Sri Bisen in the 38th and Faheem in the 57th consolidated for the winners. UPP got a consolation goal via Rakesh Kumar in the 58th minute.
