Sports Hostel lost to Sashastra Seema Bal by a solitary goal in the Lucknow hockey league. The goal was scored by Gunamani Singh in the 11th minute from the first penalty corner. The winners got two more PCs but failed to convert them. Sports Hostel also could not make use of the four PCs they received. In another match SAI Centre defeated Northern Railway Lucknow Division by two goals. Both the goals came in the first half through Ram Singh in the 13th minute and Shashi Kant in the 26th minute. NR got as many as nine PCs but wasted all of them.
