MP Govt announces Rs.1 each to ACT winners

Madhya Pradesh Government headed by Shivraj Singh Chauhan has announced a bonanza for the Asian Champions Trophy winning team. The hockey-conscious Chief Minister will be giving away Rs. 1 lack each to the Ordos heroes.

According to a press release by the Youth Welfare and Sports Department of MP, the Chief Minister has taken the decision to encourage Indian hockey team.

It is worthwhile to mention here, MP govenment has been in the forefront of promoting hockey by organizing National Championship for both factions, and also reviving Obaidullah Khan Gold Cup. the state government also laid synthetic turf in five locations in the state.

Noted Olympians in Bhopal, Ashok Kumar, Inam-ur-Rahman, Samir Dad, Jalaludin Rizvi and others welcomed the Chief Minister’s grand gesture.

“Every wining team members expect rewards and awards. Asian Champions Trophy win is a great one. Rewarding these players go a long way in enhancing the strength of players, their attitude, leading to their satisfaction. Our Chief Minister has done the same. It is laudable’, said Ashok Kumar, who supervises MP state Boys Hockey Academy in Bhopal.
