Day 7 saw fast paced action as all the teams playing were aiming to win. In the boys U-14 St Stanislaus defeated Don Bosco’s to a score of 4-2 with Mukul Khilnani hitting 4 goals for St. Stanislaus to give them an early lead.

In the girl category Durello Convent beat SBDA Nerul by a huge margin of 9 -2 with a cracker of 5 goals coming from Jemima Monteiro representing Durello Convent.

In the boys U-16 St Stanislaus trashed Our Lady of Dolours to win the match 7-4. The women’s league saw an exciting match between rivals Freunds and Valchandson . Freunds beat Valchandson 6-2 with Wilma Kanan from Freunds hitting 5 goals to take Freunds to a comfortable win.

The match between the Companeroes and Freunds in the Club Finals was a cracker with Companeroes being in the lead all through and finishing to a smashing win against the Freunds 10-4.

Competing in the Club League were Air India and UPL. Jayesh Jadhav from UPL scored a good 4 goals leaving Air India to chase a few goals to win the match. An interesting match that had spectators cheering their favourite teams and seen the most amazing display of the game.

Another glorious end to the years most awaited favourite sport at the Carmel Qadrangle came to an end with fond memories to last a yeah through till we meet again next year.
