New Zealand rejoices as India squander chances and points

Squandering chances and a half a dozen penalty corners, India settled down to a draw 2-2 against the inexperienced New Zealand colts in the third day of the 9th Junior World Cup.

First Simon Child, the captain, scored in the 10th minute and then when India equalized three minutes later his younger brother Marcus Child managed to match his elder. Marcus goal came int he 32nd minute.

New Zealand took the lead twice, and had a comfortable half time lead. First Diwakar Ram and then ever agile Pramod Kumar equalized. The score was 2-2 in the 36th minutes. Both teams failed to score thereafter.

Diwakar Ram scored in the 13th minute, and a minute after the lemon time, the renewed India made it 2-2, the goal coming from Pramod Kumar
