Results of North Zone Inter-Varsity Hockey (Men) Tournament 2010-11

DAY II (THURSDAY, 30th Dec 2010)

Aligarh MU defeated Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University Agra 4-0 while Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi won with 4-0 against HNB Garhwal University.

In the other matches, Punjabi University, Patiala beat Dr. R.M.L Avadh University, Faizabad with the score of 8-2 and Delhi University scored a 3-2 victory over MDU Rohtak, University.

The quarter final matches will be starting from tomorrow i.e. December 31, 2010.

1) Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Aligarh, defeat University of Kashmir 5-0. Sushil Gupta of AMU Hockey Team made a hat trick in this match.

2) Agra University, Agra, walkover from GKV, Haridwar University.

3) Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), New Delhi, wins Bundelkhand University, Jhansi with a fluent score of 10-0. Devi Prasad of Jamia Team scored a hat trick.

4) HNB Garhwal University beat Kumaon University 2-0.

5) Patiala University won the match with the score of 7-0 from CCSU, Meerut.

6) Delhi University won twins Lucknow University with an impressive score of 5-1.

7) Dr. RML Avadh University, Faizabad, defeat HP University, Shimla, 3-1.
