The new president of the Pakistan Hockey Federation on Thursday said he will take extreme steps to revive the sport in the country and if necessary even go for appointing foreign coach for the national team.

PHF president Qasim Zia, now a member of the ruling Pakistan Peoples Party, told reporters in Lahore that he was appalled at the way hockey had taken a nosedive in the nation. PTI
