Riyazuddin to lead Bengal in national hockey tourney

KOLKATA: Mohammad Riyazuddin will lead Bengal in the first Hockey India Men’s Senior National Championship to be held in Bhopal from June 10-19.

The Bengal Hockey Association on Tuesday announced an 18-member side to compete in the senior national championship being organised for the first time under the aegis of Hockey India (HI).

The team will leave for Bhopal on June 9, BHA said in a statement.
