Online ticket sales for the forthcoming Hero FIH Road to London, Delhi 2012 tournament to be held at Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium, New Delhi from 18-26 February starts from today.

The tournament is the final opportunity for both the Indian men and women national hockey teams to qualify for the London Olympic Games to be held from 27 July to 12 August.

The tickets are now available online from www.ticketgenie.com.

For the convenience of hockey fans, tickets will also be available at over 40 outlets throughout the Delhi NCR. The list of the outlets is attached herewith the release, with details also available on the Hockey India website – www.hockeyindia.org .

The prices for the tickets will be Rs.300 and Rs.500 for the 5 group stage days, with tickets valid for all the 6 matches to be played each day. The two classification days, 25 February for women and 26 February for men, will be Rs.400 and Rs.1000 and valid for the three matches to be played each day.

In the men tournament Canada, France, Italy, Poland and Singapore are the other participating countries besides India while in Women’s tournament Canada, Italy, Poland, South Africa and Ukraine are the other participating countries along with India.

Live Telecast timings have been kept so as to encourage hockey fans to watch them all. Matches for the Indian women team are scheduled at 18:00hrs while it is 20:00 hrs for men.
