Host Bhopal Badshahs notched up a convincing 2-1 victory over Delhi Wizards in its first home match of the inaugural World Series Hockey tournament here on Friday.
Bhopal, which had two wins, a draw and a loss so far, scored through Karan Bhaskaran (14th minute), A.B. Cheeyanna (49th) to move to the top of the points table after pocketing three points.
Delhi, which has so far won two matches and lost two, could manage only a solitary goal through Vikramjeet Singh (33rd) in the second quarter.
Bhopal will now take on Sher-E-Punjab at the same venue on Saturday.
