Powered by a brilliant hat-trick by Ramesh Yadav, Primrose HC downed Om Sai (Dharwad) 4-1 in a ‘B’ division hockey league encounter at the KSHA stadium here on Wednesday.

Ramesh Yadav struck in the 36th, 40th and 52nd minutes after Gowshik had given his team a ninth-minute lead.

Rinku levelled the scores just before half-time for the Dharwad side.

In the day’s other match, ASC Boys outplayed Anglo Indian 7-1 with Maheshwar Nag (eighth), Mohra Tani (15th, 55th), Guria (24th), Roshan Minj (32nd), Santosh Minj (39th) and Milkan Dhan (43rd) netting the goals for the winner. Romel scored the consolation goal for Anglo Indian in the 15th minute.
