Madikeri: Hathur Youth Club will meet Kakotparambu Sports and Recreation Club in the final of the 16th Nestle Kodagu Cup being organised at the Sports Authority of India (SAI) hockey grounds here.

In the first semifinal played on Saturday, Hathur Youth Club scraped past Wanderers (Madikeri) 2-1 with Darshan (19th minute) and Charmanna (23rd) scoring for the winner and International V.S. Vinay pulling one back in the 51st minute.

In the other semifinal, Kakotparambu defeated Cooperative Sports Club (Murnad) 4-2. Rathan (10th), Nikin Thimmaiah (13th), Belliappa (42nd) and Riney Poovanna (56th) got the goals for Kakotparambu while Sampath scored a goal in the very first minute of the match for the loser and international, S.V. Sunil, got the second goal for Murnad in the 57th minute.
