HYDERABAD: Hockey Andhra Pradesh, said to be the representative of all the three Associations governing the sport in the State — namely Hyderabad Hockey Association, Andhra Hockey Association and AP Women’s Hockey Association — took shape as was officially announced on Friday by its newly-elected president V. Dinesh Reddy, IPS and also president of HHA.

The newly-named body includes V. Dinesh Reddy as president and V. Ramachander Rao as vice-president, with P. Kantaiah (HHA) and Niranjan Reddy (AHA) as general secretaries, Jeeja Valsaraj (APWHA) as joint-secretary, and “a few others as required by the Registrar of Societies under the AP Societies Registration Act”. — Principal Correspondent
