The Hindu: Hockey HIM reigns

Hockey HIM defeated Hockey Bhopal 6-1 to win the B-division of the seventh National sub-junior hockey tournament for women here on Friday.

Hockey HIM took the lead in the 13th minute through a field goal from Jyoti. From there on, it was Ankita Dahiya show all the way. Back-to-back goals in the 14th and 18th minute helped Hockey HIM go into half-time 3-0.

Ankita ’tricks

Ankita’s hat-trick in the 41st minute almost sealed the game for Hockey HIM. She added one more to make it 5-0. Jyoti then rounded it off with a goal in the dying moments.

For Hockey Bhopal, Priyanka Dogra scored a consolation goal.
