Japan blanks India

NEW DELHI: Host Japan defeated India 3-0 in the first women’s hockey Test match at the Gifu Green Stadium, Kakamigahara, on Friday.

Aaki Yamada scored the first goal for Japan in the 55th minute, and Shiho Sakai flicked home twice from penalty corners in the 61st and 69th minutes.
