BANGALORE: Leo HC scored a narrow 2-1 win over Rising Star in the 12th BCYA State-level hockey tournament for B and C division teams at the Dr. Ambedkar stadium here on Saturday.

Williams gave Leo the lead in the 23rd minute, but Joseph neutralised the advantage with a 36th-minute strike. Bopanna got Leo the match-winner in the 48th minute.

Bangalore Aristocrats got a walkover from University of Agricultural Science (UAS) in the other scheduled match. — Special Correspondent
