The Hindu: PNB and Indian Oil in semifinals
Delhi outfits Punjab National Bank (PNB) and Indian Oil posted comprehensive victories to sail into the the semifinals of the Union Bank of India-52nd Bombay Gold Cup all-India hockey tournament at the MHAL-Mahndra Stadium, Churchgate on Sunday.
In the first quarterfinal, former champion Indian Oil routed Union Bank of India 5-1.
Later, PNB scored four second-half goals to inflict a 5-0 defeat on a listless Western Railway, Mumbai.
