The Hindu: Prabhjot Singh’s brace takes Indian Oil into the semifinals

Indian Oil, Mumbai, rode on Prabhjot Singh’s twin strikes to put it across Punjab & Sind Bank, Delhi, 4-3 in a keenly contested quarterfinal match of the Bombay Gold Cup hockey tournament at the MHAL-Mahindra Stadium on Sunday. V.R. Raghunath and Kothajit Singh got the other two goals for the winner.

For the Punjab bankers Harsahib Singh, Sarvanjit Singh and Mandeep Singh, were the scorers.

Earlier, South Central Railway, Secunderabad, drubbed Central Railway, Mumbai, 6-3 in another quarterfinal.

SCR will meet CAG and Indian Oil will take on PNB in the semifinals.
