SSHR-Jindal final today

VISAKHAPATNAM: State Sports Hostel (Rourkela) outplayed Chittoor District XI 3-1 to enter the final of the second Vizag Steel Cup invitation hockey tournament.

Victor Minz scored a brace and Bipin Kerketta netted one for the winner while A.N. Keerthi scored the lone goal for the loser.

The winner will now meet Jindal Steel Plant from Chhattisgarh which defeated PCTC Bangalore by two goals without reply. Anil Uggon and Milas Ekka were the scorers.

The final will be held on Friday afternoon at the Port Diamond Jubilee Stadium.
