Mumbai boy Keegan Pereira to play for Canada in hockey World Cup
MUMBAI: City boy Keegan Pereira, who studied in a Bandra school before migrating to Canada with his parents, will represent his adopted country in the hockey World Cup commencing in Delhi later this month.
Keegan, 18, is the son of former Mahindra and Mumbai hockey left-winger Reginald (Reggie) Pereira, and is now settled in Scarborough, Ontario in Canada, according to information available.
Keegan, who studied in St Stanislaus school in Bandra in his formative years, has represented Canada in five hockey internationals as a frontline player.
