Mumbai start with a huge win
MUMBAI: It rained goals on the opening day of the Indian Hockey Federation-conducted, Bombay Hockey Association-organised, inaugural under-17 sub junior national hockey championships being played at Churchgate’s Mahindra Stadium.
Fancied Mumbai started with a humongous 7-1 margin. Skipper Roshan Keisham successfully converted four shot corner to lead Mumbai’s charge. Ganedrajit Singh, who opened the scoring for the hosts, added one more in the 49th minute. While Nikhil Pujary chipped in with a field goal in the 54th minute.
