Times of India: Tidke College pip Porwal to win hockey title

NAGPUR: SRB Tidke College, Mouda edged out SK Porwal College 5-4 via tie-breaker to win the one-day Seth Nemkumar Porwal Memorial Inter-College Hockey tournament here on Thursday.

Earlier in the semifinals, Tidke College trounced Dinanath Junior College, Dhantoli 5-3, while SK Porwal College, Kamptee got the better of Anjuman College 4-0.

Abhilash Sande, Ganesh Kadhave, Kartik Yadav and Amir Sheikh performed well and received special prizes. MN Ghoshal and Vijay Kumar Sharma and Ashok Bhatiya distributed the prizes.
