TOI India hockey colts camp begins in Bangalore on Wednesday

BANGALORE: The preparatory camp of the Indian colts ahead of the junior men’s hockey World Cup, to be held in New Delhi later this year, commenced at the SAI centre on Wednesday.

The camp will be monitored by newly appointed coach of the junior men’s hockey team Gregg Clark.

A total of 37 core probables will be attecding the camp, which will conclude on May 20.

The FIH junior men’s World Cup will be held at the Major Dhyan Chand Stadium in New Delhi from December 6-15.

List of core probables:

Goalkeepers: Keshav Dutt, Sushant Tirkey, Harjot Singh. Defenders: Sukhmanjit Singh, Sampath Kumar, Gagandeep Singh, Gurjinder Singh, Gaganpreet Singh, Jarmanpreet Singh, Surender Kumar, Suresh Toppo, Jatinder Singh, Rocky Lochab, Amit Rohidas.

Midfielders: Harjit Singh, Devender Valmiki, Satbir Singh, Lalit Upadhyay, Ramandeep Singh, Imran Khan, Stanli Minz, Arman Quershi, Baljit Singh, Paredeep Mor.

Forwards: Tarandeep Singh, Malak Singh, Sukhdev Singh, Gurpreet Singh, Mandeep Singh, Amir Khan, Talwinder Singh, Affan Yousuf, Amon Mirash Tirkey, Siddharth Shankar Roy, Rana Pratap, Prabhdeep Singh, P L Thimmanna.
