Title contender Japan women consolidates their position

Top seeded Japan demolished Kazakhstan 11-0 after leading 6-0 at half time today on the second day of the Hockey World Series Round 2 in New Delhi.

Japan yesterday defeated Fiji 14-0.

Mazuki Arai started the goal spree in the fifth minute and then added a brace in the 29th and 37th
minutes.

Shiho Sakai, who struck three goals yesterday followed Mazuki five minutes later, leaving Miyuki Nakagawa add another three minutes later.
