Vivek Singh Hockey Academy, formed in the name of late Olympian Vivek Singh is conducting an exhibition hockey match for the promotion of national game and rural hockey in Varanasi.

The match will be played from 5pm onwards at the Vivek Singh Academy Stadium, Harahua, Varanasi for on 21th June.

Ex-Olympians, former India International players and members of current senior India team will be participating in the exhibition match.

Dhanraj Pillay, Mohd. Shahid, Ashok Dhyanchand, Dilip Tirkey, Anil Aldrin, Gavin Ferreira, Mohd. Riaz, Shakeel Ahmed, Harinder Singh, Arjun Hallappa, Vikram Pillay, Vikas Pillay, Edgar Mascarenhas, Adrian D’Souza, Shivendra Singh, Vernon Lobo, Prabhjot Singh, Deepak Thakur, Devesh Chauhan and Diwakar Ram are expected to play.

The event will be graced by Members of Parliament, Dhananjay Singh and Radhe Mohan and Chetnarayan Singh, Member of Legislative Council.
