A day after the majestic Major Dhyan Chand hockey stadium has been declared open by the Government of India, the global body FIH has released the rates for the World Cup tickets through one of its World Cup Special Publications.
Though the ticket rates are available, the online purchase details are provided for, the intended site however doesn’t show the provision for actual purchase at the time the story was put on online.
The tickets are classified into five types (General Admission, General Admission, Premiuim, VIP, VVIP) with the price tag of Rs.100, Rs.100, Rs.500, Rs.1000, Rs.5000, respectively.

The rate will go up by 50 percent for the 13 Feb World Cup Final (Rs.150, Rs.750, Rs.1500, Rs. 7500, respectively.)
The rates quoted above are for all matches played on that day.
Number of seats available against each category is not available, right now.
Tickets are likely to be available online at www.msnindia.com/worldcuphockey and at select branches of Café Coffee Day, Twenty Four Seven Convenience Store and UCO Bank in New Delhi.
The organizers are yet to announce date of commencement of ticket sales from these outlets.
It could not also be ascertained the rates are for India and also same for outsiders. Clarification has been sought, will come out with details once we get the reply.
