The youngster from Haryana, a double Azlan Shah Gold medalist, is an impactful forward. He is a product of CRZ School, where coaches MK Gautam and Phool Kanwar, polished him to sparkle. He joined Punjab National Bank Academy, based in Delhi, before joining ONGC. He also played for Air India for about a year before making it to the Oil giant last year.

Mandeep made his senior international debut at Ipoh in the 17th Sultan Azlan Shah Cup, where India won the silver in 2008. Before that he figured in the KL 8-Nation Junior Cup also.

Mandeep is currently in the National Training Squad for the Commonwealth Games, and was among the 22 shortlisted players for the Delhi World Cup, he was standby for the home world cup.
