Talented forward Poonam Rani made her senior interntional debut in 2009. She led India Juniors twice in 2012. From 2009 to 2018, that is about 12 years, she had been part of every Indian team that participated in FIH, AHF and HI tournaments. She has won gold at the Asian Champions Trophy 2017 and played Commonwealth Games thrice and the Asian Games twice.  With 195 caps, she is among the six most capped players of all time.
