The Kookaburra defender stands just 170cm tall but packs a lot of verve and energy as a defender.
Born on May 16, 1989, Swann made his debut for Australia in 2009 and has since then collected 204 caps.
In the process, Swann has two World Cup gold medals (New Delhi 2010 and The Hague 2014) and an Olympic bronze (London 2012) in his collection.
Swann, voted 2011 FIH Rising Star of the Year, played for Queensland Blades at home and later for HC Bloemendaal in the Netherlands and Mumbai Magicians and Dabang Mumbai in the Hockey India League.
