Jonathan opened the scoring mid way in the first half as he latched on
stray ball in the attacking zone and finding the far corner with an on
the run rasping hit that found no answer from rival keeper Clinton
D’Abreo. Small made Keanu D’Souza playing in the intermediate line
almost scored thereafter but for timely pad stuck out by Clinton.
However, Stanislaus failed to deny their rivals for a long time. It
was Jonathan in the thick of action again, sending a measured diagonal
at the far post for Jerome Pesso to connect home.

The second half was
fought more keenly with the losers having the upper hand. They
succeeded in reducing the margin through Ryland D’Monte who swept home
a cross from the right by Kevin Barnes. The Bandra team tried their
best to level the scores but stout defence by Keanu and Ashley
Coutinho helped Don Bosco run out deserving winners.

Olympian Harpal Singh who played in the Athens Olympics for India was the Chief Guest
on the occasion.
