Hindustan Times: Goan Sports win high-scoring encounter 11-6

MUMBAI: Goan Sports Association (GSA) beat Central Railway Mumbai Division (CRMD) 11-6, in a high-scoring 17-goal First Division match of the MHAL (Mumbai Hockey Association Limited) League 2016-2017 played at the MHAL-Mahindra Stadium, Churchgate on Thursday.

Centre forward Ashok Kumar scored four goals for the Goan outfit while Nitin Rand Lalit S both scored braces. N Kumar, Kuldeep Singh and A Kumar, all chipped with one apiece.

For CRMD, Harbhari Singh bagged a hat-trick while Bhasvaraj SA, Rajender Yadav and Tausif Khan also were on the score-sheet.
