HI’s official website long way to go

The officials website of Hockey India, which presently at the helm of Indian hockey administration, is long way to go.

An official website is inter alia face of the organization, it has to reflect the dynamism of the body, besides providing information on various aspects of the game.

The present site of HI is way below in giving the public even the minimum information. For instance, it still shows Vidhya Stokes as its president! Anupam Ghulati is still advisor, though he is believed to be Exe. Director nowadays. Another case in point is, inclusion Jagbir Singh as its Director Planning, though he is no longer with the HI set up after the World Cup.

The important thing everyone connected to hockey look forward is calendar and schedule of events, which only HI can come out with. Unfortunately, those are the two things we fail to get it there.

The images it has on the home page, are as old as the site, and unfortunately sourced from the search engines, meaning most of them are not theirs; Hall of Fame doesn’t move beyond Dhyan Chand, calender still talks of mid 2010, news section struck up with August election, competition doesn’t move beyond Europe tour.
