11th Oct: Delhi based crack outfit Punjab National Bank lifted the 120th Oushali All India Beighton Cup Hockey Tournament 2015 in Kolkata today at the SAI sports Complex.

Last year Punjab National Bank lost the final to India Oil Corporation but this year they beat Indian Oil Corporation by 5-3, via penalty Shoot-out regulation

Satpal Gulia of Punjab National Bank scored 1st goal at 30th minutes through a penalty corner but in the second half at 38th minutes a brilliant goal by Deepak Thakur of Indian Oil Corporation helped IOC to draw 1-1.

In the penalty shoot-out PNB’s Arjun Artil scored twice, Hardeep Singh and Naveen Antil scored one goal each while Shivdeep Singh missed the chance, for the Indian Oil Gagandeep Singh and Vikram Kanth scored one goal each, while Roshan Minz and Imran Khan missed with their quota.

Best player of the match award were given to Jasbir Singh Goal keeper of Punjab National Bank,

Fair play Trophy was given to Army XI.

Ramesh Parmeswaran where honoured with a memento, for his contribution to develop the hockey as a coach in the country.
