Jaypee Punjab Warriors all set to battle it out against Delhi Waveriders tomorrow

–Aim to secure second consecutive win against Delhi Waveriders who are looking at keeping their winning momentum going

Mohali, 06 February 2015: Marching ahead in the Hero Hockey India League 2015, table toppers Jaypee Punjab Warriors and last season’s champions Delhi Waveriders are all primed to face each other in the second encounter tomorrow in Mohali. While Jaypee Punjab Warriors has to its credit four wins out of six matches played, Delhi Waveriders presently with two wins in its hand will be looking at escalating its spot in the points table.

With an added advantage of playing on their home ground and winning the last match against Delhi Waveriders, Jaypee Punjab Warriors seem more confident to face the Delhi Waveriders outfit and would be aiming at another victory and going up the ladder. Both the teams recently faced each other in Delhi where Jaypee Punjab Warriors had a convincing win against Delhi Waveriders by 3-1.

The Sardar Singh led Delhi Waveriders have been gaining momentum in the League and will be looking at giving a strong fight to Jaypee Punjab Warriors. What is going in the team’s favour lately is the defence and seamless coordination amongst all members of the team.
