NEW DELHI: Hockey India on Wednesday announced the list of 32 junior women hockey players who will get monthly stipend of Rs 10,000 starting from July.

Hockey India will give each player Rs 1,20,000 per annum which is equal to Rs. 10,000 per month payable at every quarter. The payments to these players will start from July-September quarter.

“This amount will provide a big support for players in purchasing their equipment and it will further help players to reduce the financial burden on their families,” Hockey India said in a release.

Hockey India will also provide best quality goalkeeping kits to all the goalkeepers shortlisted in the list of 32 junior women players.

Goalkeepers: 1. Shweta 2. Bigan Soy 3. Jaspreet Kaur (Junior) 4. Sonal Minz.

Defenders: 5. Apoorva Vishwakarma 6. Sandeep Kaur (Haryana) 7. Jaspreet Kaur (Senior) 8. Sushila Lakra 9. Manjeet Kaur 10.Diksha Tiwari

Midfielders: 11. Rukmani Dodari 12. Anju Dhiman 13.Nikki Pradhan 14.Manmeet Kaur 15.Teena 16. Reena Devi 17. Renuka Yadav 18. Reena Rani 19. Shabnam Lakra
